Hazel Louise Burgess Toler, age 86, died Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Legacy Village in Tifton.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Sycamore Baptist Church.
Ms. Hazel was born May 6, 1931 to the late William and Mattie Brock Sheffield. She retired from Robins Air Force Base in Civil Service.
Survivors include one son, Doyle (Patty) Burgess of Sparta, five granddaughters, Salley Crutchfield (Clay) of Milledgeville, Amy Jones (Brian) of Sycamore, Kelley Barron (Steven) of Gordon, Brande Carter (John) Erin Gilcrest (Mark) nine great-grandchildren, Holden Crutchfield,, Heath Crutchfield, Seth Palmer, Ethan Jones, Cody Jones, Violet Burger, Melanie Blevins, Amelia Blevins, and Cole Carter; one great-great-grandchild Eden Crutchfield and one brother Tim Sheffield of Thomasville.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Hazel was preceded in death by her husbands, Curtis A. Burgess and Hershel S. Toler; one son, Curtis Wayne Burgess; two brothers; one sister; and one great-grandson, Hunter Cole Crutchfield.
