MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Gary Lee Suber, 78, of Moultrie, Ga., went to be with Jesus, June 2, 2017 at Adrian Camp and Conference Center in Adrian, Ga.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm, Sunday, June 11, 2017 at First Church of the Nazarene in Moultrie with Pastor Tyler Tibbs officiating.
Born February 4, 1939 in Moultrie, Ga., he was the son of the late Laura and J.C. Suber. Mr. Suber retired from the National Guard. Hhe was awarded top salesman with Gulf Life Insurance Co., and owned and operated the Barn House of Centerhill Restaurant. Mr. Suber was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and served as a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, an usher, on the church's board and cooked for the church events. He also served as a member for the Adrian Georgia Campground in Adrian, Ga. Mr. Suber has donated his body to MedCure Science in the hope of helping medical students in their studies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Suber.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Gail Galloway Suber of Moultrie, Ga.; brother, Randell Suber and Judy of Moultrie, Ga.; sister-in-law, Betty Suber of Moultrie, Ga.; two sons, Carey Suber and Karen of Leslie, Ga., Britton Suber and Tracey of Leesburg, Ga.; step-son, James Galloway Jr. and Julie of Kingsland, Ga.; three step-daughters, Gidget Lacey and Ricky, Megan Galloway, all of Moultrie, Ga. and Mary Ann Galloway of Albany, Ga.; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
