Frank Gordon Watson, 68, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday February 6, 2017 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Billingsley officiating and assisted by his son Chad G. Watson. Visitation will be from 10am-11am on Saturday February 11, 2017.
Born September 1, 1948 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Bartow G. Watson and Pauline Tompkins Watson. He was a construction foreman for Southwest Plaster & Drywall and the maintenance director at a nursing home and of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Tompkins Watson; the mother of his children, June Audrey Weeks Watson; brothers, David L. Watson, James Roscoe Watson, Hubert B. Watson, Grady U. Watson, and Earnest Paul Watson; and sister, Betty Ivylyn Tanner.
Survivors include his son, Chad G. Watson, and wife Becky of Augusta; daughters, Patti L. Dorminey and Frank Johnson of Moultrie, Jeannine Torbert and husband Jay of St. Simons Island; Stepdaughter, Kelly Griffin and husband Kim of Berlin; grandchildren, Devon L. Day, Paige Watson, Matthew Torbert, Payton Watson, Jacob Torbert, Sara Grace Torbert, and Parker Watson; brother, Curtis Watson and wife Shirley and sisters, Emma Jane Miley, Louise Hamm and husband Gene, and Oceline Brooks; and many nieces and nephews.
