I've known Ernie since about 1965. He was a good soul, and one of the most easy going people I've known. I never heard of anyone speak ill of him. Before I left Moultrie, I used to stop in when he was at Frenchy's a couple or more times a week for chill-dogs and to fellowship with Ernie. I was sad to learn of his passing. But our loss is Heaven's gain.

Ernie was a dear friend, he would help anybody who needed help. He was truly a great, kind soul. We would fish anywhere and everywhere we could.I know he’s ok now, I know where he is, sorry he’s not here with us. Goodbye till later, my friend.
