PAVO, Ga. -- Curtis Ivelyn Beverly, 71, of Pavo, Ga., passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Cobblestone Health and Rehabilitation in Moultrie, Ga.
A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Davis officiating.
Born March 15, 1946 in Moultrie, Ga., he was the son of the late Zoro Beverly and Nora Nash Pitts. He was the former owner of Beverly Construction, Tri-County Builders and was a member of Ione United Methodist Church. Mr. Beverly was a professional archer, archery coach and a Brooks County Midget League football coach for over 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Jean Larum Beverly of Pavo, Ga.; two daughters, Kim Thompson and Debra Conger Beverly, both of Pavo, Ga.; three grandchildren, Lee Pittman III, Allison NeSmith and Asa NeSmith; sister, Christa Beverly Rogers and Billy of Albany, Ga.; two brothers, Wilson Marvin Dunn and Judy of Tallahassee, Fla., and Gerald Beverly of Alabama.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM - 2:00PM Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
