TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Chester Eudonald "Don" Tucker, 85, of Tallahassee, Fla., formerly of Moultrie, Ga., passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at his home.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Pastor Don Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Kevin Bell, Shannon Bell, Eric Bell, Mike Dozier, Jeffery Snow and Shawn Snow. Matt Dozier and Greg Bell will serve as honorary casketbearer.
Born June 9, 1931 in Moultrie, Ga., he was the son of the late Henry Wesley Tucker and Lorene Taylor Tucker. Mr. Tucker was a United States Army veteran and a retired accountant with the Department of Corrections for the State of Florida. He was a member of Christian Heritage Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Bell Tucker; brother, Melvin Tucker; brother-in-law, Raymond Bell; three sisters-in-law, Thelma Williams, Shirley Snow and Erma Tucker Strange.
Survivors include a daughter, Regina Tucker; son, Gary Tucker, both of Tallahassee, Fla; sister-in-law, Lona Dozier and Charles of Moultrie, Ga.; four brothers-in-law, Darrell Bell, Alvin Bell, Charles Bell, all of Moultrie, Ga., Dolan Bell and Lillie of Atlanta, Ga.; several nieces and nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, May 19, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
