MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Charlie Jackson "Jack" Faison Jr., 76, of Moultrie, Ga., died Saturday, December 16, 2017 at his home.
Born January 22, 1940 in Moultrie, Ga., he was the son of the late Charlie Jackson "C.J." Faison Sr. and Ruby Mae Cleveland Faison. Mr. Faison was a United States Army Reserve veteran and retired from GoldKist with 29 years of service and was also associated with Mobley Plant Company. Mr. Faison was a member of the Moultrie Moose Lodge for over 20 years and a former member of the Sunset Country Club where he enjoyed playing golf. He was a Colquitt County Packer and Georgia Bulldog football fan. His family remembers how he enjoyed people and life in general.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Tucker.
Survivors include his wife, Nan Perkins Faison of Moultrie, Ga.; sons Charlie Jackson "Jack" Faison III and Holly of Moultrie, Ga., Gregory Christopher Faison of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandchildren, Anna Makenzie Baker and Sam, Josie Alexandra Ricks and Caleb, Ashley Brooke Faison, Emily Faison Adams and Carter, Kathryn Perry Faison and Colin Faison; great-grandchild, Sawyer Jackson Ricks; brother, Floyd Faison and Judy of Hartsfield, Ga.; sister, Louvenia Kleedehn of Hartsfield, Ga. and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-7:30PM Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Edwards Cancer Center at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
