MOULTRIE, GA. -- Charles David Allegood, 66, of Moultrie, Ga., died Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, August 18, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev Harold Barnes and the Rev. David Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Terry Norman, Blake Boutwell, Ted Norman, John Magoun, Josh Griffin and Terry Allegood.
Born December 20, 1950 in Moultrie, Ga., he was the son of the late Weldon Delma Allegood and Eunice Davis Allegood. Mr. Allegood retired from the State of Ga. Forestry as a forest ranger and was a member of Willacoochee Holiness Baptist Church. His family remembers how he loved photography and loved to fish.
Survivors include his wife Joyce Norman Allegood of Moultrie, GA.; four children, Curtis Allegood and Stephanie, Alan Allegood all of Moultrie, Ga., Andy Allegood of N.C., Becky Magoun and Jon of Geneva, AL.; four grandchildren, David Allegood, Richard Allegood, Mary Allegood and Brianna Allegood; sister, Debbie Boutwell and Tim, Dwayne Allegood and Karen all of Moultrie, Ga.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
