Carol Vick Norman, 75, of Moultrie died Friday, October 6, 2017 at her residence.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 9, at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Randy Jackson will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers will be Will Whitfield, Lynn McCracken, Vick Summerlin, Brent Stewart, Rodney Drawdy, Nelson Aldridge.
Born December 14, 1941 in Colquitt County, Mrs. Norman was the daughter of the late Roy Vick and Gladys Johnson Vick. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Jackson "Jack" Norman and her son, Roy Andrew Norman.
Mrs. Norman was a retired teacher, having worked for Colquitt County School System. She was a volunteer firefighter with the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Association and also retired from Georgia Department of Corrections. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Norman loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Johnny Norman of Moultrie; two daughters-in-law, Joanna Norman and Abigail Norman; grandchildren, John Jackson Norman III, Jake Thomas Norman, Madison LeAnne Norman, Walker Hurley (C.J.); sister-in-law, Sue Clingerman; brother-in-law, Tommy Norman (Betty); several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Lisa and Bill Whitfield and family.
Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Sunday, October 8 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
Memorials may be made to Colquitt Regional Hospice.
