Rarely does someone come into your life at such a young age and remain there. Carol and I bonded from the first day we met as student and teacher. That bond has grown stronger over the years even with distance between us. We have kept in close contact and became a part of each others' lives.
I have a special place in my heart for her and she will always remain there. She has had to fight to live a normal life and I respect and admire the courage she showed to everyone.
Now, my sweet little angel, you can stop fighting and being so brave and rest in God's loving arms, for your job is done. Rest in peace until we meet again, sweet Carol. I love you.
