MOULTRIE, GA.- Barbara Ann Massey Tucker, 77, of Moultrie, died Friday, January 18, 2019 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:30PM Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Norman officiating. Interment will follow in Murphy Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Chuck Arrington, Sammy Smith, Calvin Cole, Derrick Mainor, Hank Flowers and Jason Gailey.
Born October 9, 1941 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Preston Johnson and Margaret Marie Massey Jones. Mrs. Tucker retired from Bishop's Convenience Store as a cashier and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Tucker.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin Eugene "Sonny" Tucker of Moultrie; children, Bobby Tucker and Vickie, Lisa Hicks and Joel, Michelle Cobb and Terry, Jeffrey Tucker all of Moultrie; daughter-in-law, Barbara Tucker of Moultrie; grandchildren, Jamey Tucker and Heather, Megan Spence and Michael, Clint Handfield and Crysti, Joel Hicks II, Josh Hicks and Heather, Turner Smith, Hannah Brady, Gracie Hogan, Hunter Cobb, Nicholas Cobb, Lizzi Tucker, Abigayle Ladson, Kevin Tucker and Abbie, Corey Tucker and Courtney Newell; seventeen great-grandchildren; sisters, Gail Wilson of Lilburn, Susan Jones of Loganville; brother, Phil Jones of Loganville.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
