MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Arnold Cleveland Odom, Sr., 73, of Moultrie, Ga. died Monday, July 31, 2017 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, August 5, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Doerun with Dr. David Benton officiating.
Born September 7, 1943 in Branford, Fla., he was the son of the late Harley James Odom and Ila Collins Odom. Mr. Odom was formerly in the Army Reserve and retired from Georgia Pacific as a paper maker. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Doerun.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Curtis Mark Odom; brother James O'Neal Odom; sister, Barbara Jean McCollum.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Buswell Odom of Moultrie, Ga.; five children, Arnold Odom, Jr. and Phyllis of St. Cloud, Fla., Carol Beth Hirtzel of Jacksonville, Fla., Jason Scott Odom and Kerri of St. Augustine, Fla., Donna Jean Torrey of Altamonte Springs, Fla., Deborah Dolley Bennett and John of Wilmington, N.C.; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sisters, JoAnn Comer and Katheryn Baldwin, both of Bardin, Fla.; brothers, Billy Odom of Bardin, Fla., Bobby Odom and Jeannette of Interlachen, Fla.
The family will receive friends from 3:00PM -4:00PM Saturday, August 5, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Doerun.
